Design of Non-Reciprocal Absorbing Material Based on One-Way Transmission Structure
Based on the Magnetic Surface Plasmon States (MSPs) of ferrite, a new one-way transmission structure is proposed. In the presented structure, unidirectional transmission of surface wave is achieved by applying a static bias magnetic field (BMF) on the ferrite and activating non-reciprocal transmission mode on ferrite's surface. Then, a new Radar Absorbing Material (RAM) is constructed by adding metal ground at bottom of the one-way transmission structure. Compared to traditional RAM, the new design can block the reflected wave besides absorbing the incident electromagnetic energy. The simulation result showed good electromagnetic wave absorbing properties. Our work may provide a new approach of RAM designing.
