A Reconfigurable Pixel Antenna Design Method Based on Dominant Rank Pre-allocation NSGA-II

With the continuous advancement of millimeter wave technology, antenna design is trending towards miniaturization and cost reduction. The second section of this article presents an improved NSGA-II algorithm with dominance rank pre-allocation for antenna optimization. The combination of this improved algorithm with the Internal Multi-Port Method (IMPM) enables rapid analysis and optimization of pixel antennas. Based on this method, a frequency-reconfigurable pixel antenna operating at 24.63GHz to 25.13GHz (K-band) and 29.26GHz to 31.88GHz (Ka-band) was designed in the third section of this paper. The gains of the antennas are 10.5dBi and 11.8dBi respectively, and the half-power beamwidths of both the E-plane and H-plane of the antennas are greater than 30°.
