Dual-Port Phase Mode Antenna with Folded Spoof Surface Plasmon Polaritons Structure
In this paper, a wide-angle-scanning dual-port phase mode antenna with folded spoof surface plasmonic polaritons structure (SSPPs) is proposed. The antenna is constructed by two monopoles and a folded SSPPs. The serrate section uses centrally symmetric SSPPs structure to realize different dispersion characteristics between the upper and lower parts. By changing the phase difference between two ports, different modes can be excited in the serrate structure and achieve beam scanning. Simulated results validate that the proposed antenna can realize upper half space scanning under 3dB beam width in 5.7-6.7GHz.
