A Range-Doppler Map Simulation Method Based on Near-Field Electromagnetic Scattering Algorithm
In this paper, a range Doppler simulation method based on near-field electromagnetic scattering algorithm is proposed for radar and target intersection scenarios. Firstly, the near-field physical optical (PO) expression under antenna beam irradiation is given, and the closed expression is obtained based on the local far-field approximation method. The near field physical diffraction theory (PTD) is further introduced to improve the simulation accuracy. Then, based on the expression of near-field scattered electric field, the calculation process of distance Doppler graph is derived in detail. Finally, the numerical results show the accuracy and efficiency of this method in calculating velocity and distance information.
