Effects of Atmospheric Turbulence on Atmospheric Refraction
This paper focuses on solving the corrections required for small-scale effects in radio systems. By analyzing the essential characteristics of neutral atmospheric turbulence in detail, it reveals how it causes irregular fluctuations in atmospheric refractive index. This fluctuation has a significant impact on the propagation path of radio waves, which restricts the accuracy of the radio external measurement system. We first theoretically expounded the basic principles and characteristics of atmospheric turbulence, and with the help of meteorological sounding data in Qingdao area, we deeply explored the specific properties of atmospheric turbulence in this area, and studied the influence of turbulence on atmospheric refraction error.
