Design of RF Transceiver Module

In today's electronic communication and defense industry, the need for high-frequency and reliable systems is steadily increasing. These systems play a critical role by ensuring uninterrupted and secure data transmission during military operations. In this article, a Transciever (transmit-receive) module operating in the S-band frequencies has been designed. The S-band, commonly used in defense and communication applications, offers long-distance communication with low noise. The transmission module includes a power amplifier and an RF converter, while the receiving module incorporates an SPDT switch, interdigital band-pass filter, and low-noise amplifier. The system, developed to be compatible with time-division multiplexing (TDM) architecture using a single antenna, was designed with frequencies used in data link systems in mind.
