SAR Imaging for a Missile Above Two-Layered Rough Surfaces
In the past, there have been many studies on electromagnetic scattering calculation of targets. But there are fewer studies on the scattering calculation of rough surfaces, especially for the layered rough surfaces. When the target is above the layered rough surface, it is necessary to solve the composite scattering of the rough surface and the target. In this paper, we focus on a missile above two-layered rough surfaces (MTRS) scene. And based on the ray tracing, we analyze the complex scattering between a target and two-layered rough surfaces. Based on the geometric optics (GO), the incident fields of all the surfaces are obtained, and then apply the time domain physical optics (PO) to calculate the scattered fields. In the end, considering the effect of the roughness of the rough surface on the scattered field, we give the SAR images for different roughness to explore the effect of roughness on the scattered field.
