Dual-Channel Millimeter-Wave Transmistarray for Non-Diffracting Bessel Beam Generation
In this paper, a dual-channel transmistarray for generating Bessel beams is introduced. The traditional orbital angular momentum (OAM) beam has the problem of beam divergence, which seriously affects its application in wireless communication systems. In this design, dual-channel multiplexing can be realized by recording the phase information of different modes of two OAM mode on an array at the same time. Then the correlation term of axicon angle of Bessel beam is introduced into the phase compensation information to suppress the divergence angle of OAM beam. Compared with the traditional OAM beam, the non-diffraction distance is longer and the electric field intensity is more concentrated. The simulation results show that the maximum non-diffraction distance of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$l=\pm 1$</tex> mode is 800 mm (about <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$73\lambda_{0}$</tex>), and the mode purity is over 97%. The designed antenna has excellent performance and is expected to play an important role in communication system.
