An Observational Data-Driven Analysis Model for Atmospheric Refraction Effects in Radar Systems
For ground-based radars, the troposphere and ionosphere are the main sources of measurement errors. Currently, with the increasing demands for target tracking in many engineering applications of radar systems, accurately assessing the impact of atmospheric refraction effects on radar systems has become increasingly important. Based on GNSS and meteorological observation data, we have developed an observational data-driven analysis model for atmospheric refraction effects in radar systems, this model can realistically reproduce the variation characteristics of radar systems at different locations and frequencies in the three dimensions of elevation angle, azimuth angle, and distance.
