A Meta-surface Antenna for Satellites' X-band Data Transmission Subsystem Test

This paper presents a novel X-band antenna used for satellites' data transmission subsystem test. The working frequency band of the antenna is 8.00GHz-9.00GHz, which can cover data transmission subsystem's full frequency band. And the 3dB beam width is 80deg, the wide beam can support test application. In addition, the combination of meta-surface and microstrip make the antenna have both advantages, such as wide frequency band and low-profile.
