Research on Electromagnetic Scattering Acceleration Algorithm Based on Coupling Region Division
The shooting and bouncing rays method[1] (SBR) is a combination of physical optics method (PO) and geometric optics method (GO). Compared with low-frequency numerical method, SBR has a remarkable high speed. Therefore, many experts and scholars are using it to calculating the EM scattering from the target with large electrical size [2]–[4]. This article is based on the shooting and bouncing rays method and uses the coupling region division method to accelerate the scattering calculation of rough surface and target on it. The Radar Cross Section (RCS) results and calculation time before and after the improvement are provided to prove the feasibility of the coupling region division method.
