Analysis of Received Signal and Detection Performance of Passive Radar on Non-Stationary Platform
Passive radar on moving platform has significant advantages, however, its non-ideal motion introduces new problems. This paper first models the multi-channel received signal on a non-stationary platform. The time-varying Doppler frequency shift (DFS) and direction of arrival (DOA) of the echo caused by non-stationary motion are analyzed theoretically. Simulation results show that errors exist in the DFS and DOA of the target, and the integration gain decreases. Motion compensation is required for target detection and clutter suppression.
