Efficient Analysis of Scattering Problems for Finite Periodic Arrays Using Compressive Sensing and Characteristic Mode Basis Function Method
In this paper, a new method combining compressive sensing (CS) with characteristic mode basis function method (CMBFM) is proposed to accelerate the solution of finite periodic array scattering problems. Due to the repetitive nature of the array elements, the proposed method only needs to perform eigenmode analysis on the reference elements. The sparse basis functions in CS theory are constructed subsequently and the least squares method is used as the recovery algorithm to solve the overdetermined CS equation quickly. Compared with the method of moments (MoM) and CMBFM, the proposed method effectively reduces the solution time and memory consumption. Numerical simulation results verify the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.
