A High Gain Antenna with Loading Gradient Directional Structure

This article proposes a high gain antenna with loading gradient directional structure. Taking the planar printing Yagi antenna as an example, this directional structure changes the traditional single directional element to a symmetrical structure, improving the mutual coupling relationship between passive directional elements and driving elements. In addition, the symmetrical directional element is changed to a gradient form, which can improve the gain of the antenna over a wider bandwidth by fixing the relative position relationship between the directional element and the radiating element. In this article, the gain of the original antenna was increased by more than 3dB through three sets of gradient directional element.

Abstract

This article proposes a high gain antenna with loading gradient directional structure. Taking the planar printing Yagi antenna as an example, this directional structure changes the traditional single directional element to a symmetrical structure, improving the mutual coupling relationship between passive directional elements and driving elements. In addition, the symmetrical directional element is changed to a gradient form, which can improve the gain of the antenna over a wider bandwidth by fixing the relative position relationship between the directional element and the radiating element. In this article, the gain of the original antenna was increased by more than 3dB through three sets of gradient directional element.
