Time Domain Transfer Impedance Measurement of Shielded Cables with Wavelet Denoising Method
For the transfer impedance measurement of shielded cables in time domain, the original results may be sensitive to the measurement noises, which is in general superimposed onto the original data. To remove the noisy signals, the wavelet denoising method is used for the high altitude electromagnetic pulse based measurement. To well deal with the noisy signals introduced in high altitude electromagnetic pulse tests, two applicaiton scenarios, i.e., indirect denoising and direct denoising, are considered for the transfer impedance of shielded cable. The denoised results have highlighted that the noisy signals are significantly shrunk for the indirect denoising, and the wavelet denoising method can preserve the essential features of the transfer impedance.
