A Passive Target Localization Method Based on Electromagnetic Positioning System Perturbations
Electromagnetic localization systems are widely used in various environments due to their advantages of not requiring line of sight, no drift, and high signal-to-noise ratio. However, environmental interference can affect the magnetic field distribution, leading to decreased accuracy of magnetic field models and increased localization errors. When metallic objects are present in the localization space, the altered magnetic field induces eddy currents within the metal, further disturbing the original magnetic field distribution. This paper proposes a method for analyzing the position of interference sources based on electromagnetic localization. This method can inversely determine the location information of interfering media within the magnetic field, thereby effectively identifying the positions of interference sources.
