3D Reconstruction of Old Tower Based on Airborne LiDAR of UAV
The high-voltage transmission line is the aorta of power energy transmission, the pylon as the main component of the transmission line, is the premise of the safe and stable operation, the loss caused by the damage of the pylon is immeasurable, so the regular monitoring of power facilities is essential. UAV, with its flexible flight mode, plays an important role in power detection and is widely applied. Around the world, affected by extreme weather, the overturn of old iron pylons occurs from time to time, seriously affecting the normal operation of the power grid. Through the safety analysis of the old transmission pylon, strengthening the weak area is the feasible way at present, and the accurate three-dimensional reconstruction of the transmission pylon is the basis of the analysis of the transmission pylon structure. To solve this problem, this paper presents an automatic and efficient reconstruction method for pylons from LiDAR by hybrid-driven strategy. The average reconstruction time of a pylon is 1.63s, and the average reconstruction accuracy of the pylon is 0.015m. The experiments prove that the proposed method can reconstruct the pylon efficiently and accurately.
