Single-Substrate Transmissive Metasurface with Controllable Amplitude and Phase

In this article, a single-layer transmissive metasurface(MS) with independent amplitude-phase modulation is proposed. It has a higher transmission coefficient of -0.77dB, while the coding sequences is 2-bit. Compared with other current MSs, this MS has a higher transmission amplitude. Based on this MS, a spatial power divider is designed and simulated. The simulated results show that, two directed beams pointing to (214°, 0°) and (155°, 90°) are generated with a power ratio of 1:1 at 11GHz

Abstract

In this article, a single-layer transmissive metasurface(MS) with independent amplitude-phase modulation is proposed. It has a higher transmission coefficient of -0.77dB, while the coding sequences is 2-bit. Compared with other current MSs, this MS has a higher transmission amplitude. Based on this MS, a spatial power divider is designed and simulated. The simulated results show that, two directed beams pointing to (214°, 0°) and (155°, 90°) are generated with a power ratio of 1:1 at 11GHz
