Development of ethical values in digital education
This article analyzes the development of ethical values in digital education in elementary school students. Using a quantitative approach and a descriptive and cross-sectional research design, data were collected through surveys, applied to 30 students. The results show that most students have a moderate development of ethical values, although significant gaps persist in aspects such as honesty, respect, and responsibility in the use of technologies. Likewise, shortcomings in digital literacy and in the effective use of educational platforms are identified, which limits the potential of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) as tools for learning. The research highlights the importance of integrating pedagogical strategies that combine ethical and technological training, promoting inclusive and responsible digital education.
