2024년 5월 14일 전북특별자치도 군산시 옥도면 어청도(36°7′14.91″N, 125°58′46.38″E)에서 솔딱새과에 속하는 Common Redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus) 수컷 1개체가 관찰되었다. 국내에서 첫 관찰 기록임으로, 본 연구에서는 직접적인 관찰과 촬영된 사진을 근거로 하여 (가칭)흰이마딱새의 공식적인 국내 첫 기록으로 보고하고자 한다.
