Digital supervision in construction pollution control: Utilizing advanced information models for enhanced supervision and sustainability
Since construction dust and noise have significant adverse impacts on urban environments and human health, they need to be monitored and supervised. However, related studies have generally focused on the development of traditional monitoring systems and neglected digital supervision models. Therefore, to achieve efficient supervision of numerous construction sites, overcome the challenges faced by traditional supervision, and reduce construction dust and noise pollution, this study introduces a novel digital platform supervision model. The transmission process of supervisory information is simulated by a Shannon model and Petri net to compare the time efficiency of digital platform supervision and traditional supervision. The results show that the digital platform connects the responsible parties for construction pollution and the supervisory parties based on information technology, facilitates the coordination and interaction of stakeholders, improves supervisory performance, and effectively reduces dust and noise pollution. The study innovatively applies a digital platform to the supervision of construction dust and noise pollution and describes the establishment and operation process of the platform. It also promotes the application of related theories in the construction industry and provides a practical template for supervisory practices in other countries and regions. • Digital platform supervises construction dust and noise pollution. • Combines the Shannon model and Petri net to simulate supervisory information transmission. • Digital platform supervision is more efficient than traditional supervision, significantly reducing dust and noise pollution. • Advances the application and development of platform theories and practices in the construction industry.
