INTRA-ORGANIZATIONAL KNOWLEDGE SHARING AND INNOVATION OF POLISH ENTERPRISES
Knowledge sharing plays a key role in the effectiveness of the knowledge management process and contributes to improving the efficiency and stimulating the innovation of enterprises. Knowledge sharing is an important process that affects the improvement of innovation both at the organizational and individual level. However, the SME sector shows limitations in the intra-organizational knowledge sharing process, which may adversely affect the innovativeness of these entities. The main research objective is to identify the level of intra-organizational knowledge sharing in Polish SME enterprises and to diagnose the impact of knowledge sharing on the innovativeness of these enterprises. For the purposes of achieving the main objective and verifying the research hypotheses, a survey was conducted on a group of 355 micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the Silesian Voivodeship. Statistical analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and the Kendall tau correlation coefficient and showed a positive relationship between the level of knowledge sharing and the innovativeness of SMEs. However, it was not possible to confirm the increasing scope of knowledge sharing with the increase in the size of the enterprise.
