Mutations of variable parts of immunoglobulin heavy chains (IGHV) — assay methodology and recommendations on how to report results
Currently, the evaluation of mutational status of variable region of immunoglobulin heavy chain gene (IGHV) makes up one of the key prognostic and predictive tests in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL), performed before the initiation of the first line therapy. This publication presents the first edition of the Polish recommendations of the Molecular Haematology Section of the Polish Society of Human Genetics (PTGC) concerning the methodology of IGHV mutation status determination and the principles of reporting the results based on the recognised international standards.
