Status and Prospects for Research on the Strategic Communication Between Poland and United Kingdom since mid-October 1938 till December 1939

The article presents the status of research on Polish-British relations from October 1938 till the end of 1939. Analyses that had been conducted were to assess the subject literature, scientific output generated so far and status of research, mainly with regard to Polish-British strategic communication during the period in question. The main conclusion points out at the necessity to prepare a comprehensive evaluation of the available historiography and launch next archival research on the Polish and British press. Such activities should also comprise other archival materials, mainly regarding military, social, and economic situation of both countries. This however would require thorough research on bilateral relations, with main focus on information generated and distributed, all in the context of the political situation in Europe of the time.
