A Survey on the Current Status of Fertility Intentions Among New-Generation Professional Women in Beijing's Central Business District
Despite adjustments to China's fertility policies, the current situation of low new-born population numbers and the public's low fertility intentions have not been effectively improved. Enhancing fertility intentions and improving population structure have become critical issues that need to be addressed urgently. The fertility intentions of new-generation professional women play a significant role in fertility rates. This paper analyzes the main factors affecting fertility intentions from four dimensions: cost-benefit, family resources, career development, and social networks, and thus puts forward countermeasures and suggestions.
