Simulation of multi-unit auction and its application in blue carbon auction
Multi-unit auction is more and more widely used in the fields of bonds, telecommunication spectrum, pollution rights, etc., but the theoretical research based on mathematical model needs more empirical and experimental tests. In this paper, the method of computer simulation is used to demonstrate the Nash equilibrium of asymmetric multi-unit auction and verify its reliability in a certain range. Furthermore, Monte Carlo simulation is used to obtain the stochastic dominance of different auction mechanisms from the perspective of probability, which adds important conclusions to the theoretical model.
