Evaluation of Science and Technology Innovation Input-Output Efficiency Based on DEA
Assessing the input-output efficiency of science and technology innovation is of significant for the formulation of China's policies. By combining an analysis of indicators of China's science and technology innovation input and output from 2008 to 2022, and the indicators in 31 provinces, this study employs the DEA to conduct an analysis of China's science and technology innovation efficiency and various input-output indicators. The results show that the effectiveness of China's fluctuated greatly from 2008 to 2015, and has been continuously effective from 2016 to 2022. Among the 31 provinces from 2021 to 2022, 13 were found to be efficient, while others lacked efficiency. The level of regional science and technology innovation input-output efficiency is not related to its degree of development.
