Exploration of Secondary Industry Association Analysis Based on Input Output Model

This article, based on the input-output flow data released by the National Bureau of Statistics and the national industrial classification standards, has conducted a detailed classification and arrangement of the input-output flow tables for specific regions, and has constructed an input-output model covering the industrial sector, namely the secondary industry, and its related fields. By analyzing real data, this paper explores the contribution of the secondary industry to economic growth and its comprehensive driving effect on other industrial sectors. The study finds that the overall input of the secondary industry shows a downward trend, which is unfavorable for local economic development. Therefore, it is suggested that investment in the secondary industry should be appropriately increased.
