Study on the Influence of Personnel Distribution in University Teaching Buildings on Safety Evacuation
Taking a university teaching building as the research object, Pathfinder is used to establish and simulate evacuation models under different course scheduling scenarios, and the influence of different personnel distribution on the safety evacuation of teaching buildings is compared and analyzed. The results show that the evacuation time varies greatly when the total numbers of evacuees are the same but the personnel distributions are different. The effective use of low-floor classrooms is conducive to evacuation, while the effective use of classrooms near the stairs does not improve the evacuation efficiency. The exit of stairs on the third floor of the teaching building is prone to congestion, so the use of classrooms on this floor should be appropriately reduced. While optimizing the use of university teaching buildings, evacuation guidance and management should be strengthened.
