FORENSIC INVESTIGATOR SERVICE: ISSUES OF THEORY AND PRACTICE

He author of this work highlights the significant role of forensic investigators in the fight against crime. The issue of the problem of the procedural status of the forensic investigator is raised, and amendments to the legislation on the issues under study are proposed. It is proposed to introduce changes to the current edition of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation by adding part 2.1 to Article 38, dedicated to the procedural status of the forensic investigator.
