Analytical Performance model for Sliced 5G core network

Providing an upper bound of the service latency in communication networks is a key step of validating service provisioning. Due to the different types of the services that may be provided by the 5G network, it is very critical to calculate their upper bound of latency according to different configuration of the network. In this paper, an upper bound of the service latency for 5G core network with sliced UPF function is provided using network calculus.

Due to the different types of the services that may be provided by the 5G network, it is very critical to calculate their upper bound of latency according to different configuration of the network. In this paper, an upper bound of the service latency for 5G core network with sliced UPF function is provided using network calculus.
