Performance Evaluation of Blockchain Systems Based Chaotic Multimedia Encryption

Nowadays, we generate millions of data in the form of text, images, etc. Among them, images and text messages are widely used in communication. Due to their vulnerabilities, they are difficult to transmit in a secure way. Therefore, the data encryption algorithm is based on a 3D logistic map. Traditional data security solutions are diminishing due to the increasing role of third parties. The modern solution to these difficulties is blockchain technology. The cryptographic pixel values of the image and text files are saved on the blockchain in this system, which ensures the privacy and security of data. This paper proposes a blockchain architecture based on chaotic encryption to ensure data integrity. In this paper, the proposed blockchain framework will be tested using different sets of texts to evaluate the performance metrics such as (NPCR) equal to 100%, (UACI) equal to 38.54%, and entropy equal to 7.58 in different attack scenarios. The performance metric for the peer-to-peer blockchain, such as Transactions Per Second (TPS), is tested.
