Advancing Green Communication: Energy-Efficient Lightweight RSA Implementation on FPGA Platforms
Many developing nations are now experiencing a severe energy crisis. However, a team of engineers and academics used the Xilinx Vivado tool and many generations of field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) to develop an energy-efficient Lightweight RSA, paving the way for environmentally friendly communication. Compared and contrasted two separate generations of field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs)-Genesys and Kintex-to find the best power-efficient one. A comparison of the Kintex and Genesys families reveals that the former utilized 34.68 Watts of electricity and the latter 37.79 Watts. More specifically, we find that the Kintex family averages 25.F <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$5^{\circ}\mathbf{C}$</tex> and the Genesys family 26.6 <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">${}^{\circ}\mathbf{C}$</tex>. Compared to other families of FPGAs, the Kintex family exhibits superior energy efficiency, according to this research.
