The Chi-square test was employed to test the null hypotheses at a significance level of 0.05. The findings indicated that competitive strategies affected conflict resolution among academic personnel in Federal Universities in North-East Nigeria. The study determined that the implementation of a competitive strategy for conflict resolution will effectively address conflicts among academic staff at federal universities in North-East Nigeria.
