LANGUAGE FEATURES OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN SHIRAK’S DIALECT

Historical Shirak is known for its traditional culture, special manifestations of everyday life. The same traditional approach is adapted to language and speech: “Each dialect is a perfect language system and is in no way inferior to another. It is adapted to express the reality and ideals of the people” [4, p. 17]. We can unconditionally attribute this characteristic feature to Gyumri and especially to the reality of the Gyumri-Leninakan-Gyumri period, taking into account the fact that Gyumri, being conservative, is also subject to the penetration of customs is the center of the region. The article is devoted to the linguistic and stylistic study of small genres of oral creativity of the people in Shirak’s dialect. We have conducted the research based on language material from already recorded samples, and also held hearings in Gyumri and especially in the rural areas of Shirak. In particular, we examined the songs of the people, woven from all kinds of proverbs, and then ready-made proverbs.
