HEREDITARY BREAST CANCER SYNDROME. RISK MANAGEMENT

The article presents an analysis of current data from foreign literature concerning hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndrome: the diagnosis code in ICD-11, definition, testing criteria, cancer risk in men and women, cancer screening, indications for risk-reducing surgery. The authors present their own data on the observation of healthy women carrying germline mutations in the genes of predisposition to the development of breast and ovarian cancer, preventive surgical interventions in this group of patients
