PHYSICAL AND ANAMNESTIC CHARACTERISTICS OF PREGNANT WOMEN DEPENDING ON HEIGHT
Short pregnant women are more likely to be overweight and obese (OR1-2=1.8, 95 % CI (1.1-3), OR1-3=2.1, 95 % CI (1-4.1)), and are characterized by lower weight gain during pregnancy (18 % less than in women of average height and 27 % less than in tall women). The taller the height, the larger the size of the pelvis and the abdominal circumference of a pregnant woman on the eve of childbirth.
