STRATEGIC PLANNING IN THE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM

Strategic planning in the formation of socio- economic development is one of the prerequisites for effective development. Today, it is difficult to find government or commercial structures that would not use such planning in their activities. Given the modern factors of the development of the Russian Federation, strategic planning is becoming a vital necessity. The article analyzes the role and place of strategic planning in the public administration system, identifies problems, and suggests ways to improve goal setting and coordination of regulatory and legal documents in this area.
