AN ATTEMPT TO ANALYZE THE EFFORTS MADE IN FOSTERING STUDENTS’ CREATIVE THINKING THROUGH THE STUDY OF FAIRY TALES

The paper presents the process of developing students’ creative thinking can be improved through the teaching of fairy tales. The topic was chosen taking into account the role of the fairy tale in the educational process of the growing generation, on the one hand, the limitation of professional literature on the other hand. The methodological basis for the research is a number of educational materials related to the topic. The work can be useful for elementary school teachers, teachers of the Armenian language, students of relevant specialties of pedagogical universities. The object of the research is the process of learning the native language of elementary and middle school students. The subject of the research is the identification of the features of the development of students’ creative thinking through the study of the fairy tales covered in the textbooks of the public school. The research was carried out using a questionnaire with both open and closed questionswhich was developed by us through a combination of electronic and existing methods. A total of 30 teachers participated in the research.
