The Impact of Application Service Quality on Trust, User Satisfaction, and Continuous Usage Intention: Focus on Running Applications

This study analyzes the impact of service quality dimensions on user trust, satisfaction, and continuous usage intention in running applications. An online survey was conducted from September 5 to September 30, 2024, targeting 300 users with prior experience using running applications. After verifying data validity, a total of 298 valid responses were included in the analysis. The validity and reliability of the measurement instruments were confirmed through exploratory factor analysis and reliability testing, and multiple regression analysis was performed using SPSS 28.0.<br/> The results indicate that reliability, responsiveness, empathy, and tangibility significantly influence user trust. Empathy, responsiveness, and reliability were identified as key determinants of user satisfaction, while reliability, responsiveness, and empathy positively impact continuous usage intention. These findings highlight the critical role of service quality in enhancing user trust, satisfaction, and long-term engagement with running applications. The study provides practical implications for refining service quality strategies, supporting the advancement of running applications as essential tools in the digital health and fitness market, and fostering increased user engagement and market competitiveness.
