Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the sports industry by reshaping perceptions and experiences. This study explores the impact of AI adoption on sports perception through affective, cognitive, and psychomotor domains, revealing its influence on fan and professional engagement. AI enhances emotional connection and trust, with real-time data and game analyses deepening immersion. AI referee systems increase fairness perceptions, yet excessive or complex information can hinder emotional engagement, emphasizing the need for user-friendly formats. In the cognitive domain, AI improves knowledge acquisition and gameplay understanding, allowing for analytical engagement. While many participants valued these insights, some found limited relevance, highlighting the importance of personalization. <br/> In the psychomotor domain, AI-based training programs and feedback systems foster motivation and regular exercise habits. Individualized plans and performance tracking boost participation, and data sharing enhances social motivation. Challenges such as lifestyle compatibility underline the need for adaptive solutions. This study underscores AI’s transformative role in sports perception, recommending strategies to ensure data reliability, enhance personalization, integrate educational tools, and develop engaging content. Optimized AI applications hold potential to innovate and advance the sports industry.
