Endocervical adenocarcinoma secondary to HPV in a young woman

Considering the relationship between persistent HPV infections and the development of endocervical adenocarcinomas in young women, this study aims to report a rare case of invasive endocervical adenocarcinoma in a 28-year-old patient. To this end, clinical follow-up was carried out for the patient, who had risk factors such as smoking, early sexual debut, and lack of HPV vaccination. The diagnosis was made through biopsy and conization, followed by laparoscopic hysterectomy. It is observed that even in young women, persistent high-risk HPV infections can lead to the development of neoplasms, highlighting the importance of vaccination and early screening. It is concluded that individualized management and early diagnosis are essential for successful treatment in rare cases like this.
