EXPERIENCE IN SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CHILDREN WITH ANORECTAL MALFORMATIONS
he article provides an analysis of surgical correction of pediatric patients with anorectal malformations for the period from 2016 to January 2024. During this period, 187 children were treated at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Surgery. Single-stage posterior vagittal proctoplasty was performed in 43 patients aged 0 days to 6 months. 144 children were operated on using the traditional three-stage method. The follow-up period for children in the postoperative period ranged from 3 months to 1 year. Based on the data obtained, it is concluded that the choice of tactics in the neonatal period is determined by the type of defect and the general condition of the patient, and minimal posterolateral proctoplasty in children with low forms of anorectal malformations is the operation of choice.
