Industrial Power Flexible Load Scheduling for Demand Side Management Considering Machine Buffer
In order to fully exploit the flexible potential of industrial power load, with the goal of minimizing the energy cost of industrial production and maximizing the achievable peak cutting amplitude, this paper proposes a multi-objective scheduling model for industrial power load considering machine buffer based on the state-task-network (STN) with machine buffer to represent the production process. An empirical case study based on a cement production line with a daily production capacity of 5,000 tons in Yunnan Province was used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results show that the daily electricity cost is reduced by $14,716.39$ yuan and the difference rate between peak and valley load is also lowered by ${0 . 2 7 \%}$. The scheduling model proposed in this paper could be applied to the optimization management of other types of industrial power loads, which will produce greater economic benefits and more significant reduction effect of difference between peak and valley load.
