ShareBloc:A Unified Ecosystem for Secure File Sharing and Decentralized Value Exchange

In the rapidly evolving landscape of digital transactions and digital sharing, efficient and secure information exchange is paramount. With the exponential growth of the global Blockchain Market size, due to increase in digital transactions and file sharing, a streamlined decentralized information management has never been more pressing. Over the period of time, different methods have been proposed to perform decentralized tasks like Money transfer, File sharing, Crowd funding, etc. But navigating to different platforms to perform distinct tasks presents a significant hurdle for users. To tackle this challenge, we present a novel solution named ShareBloc: a comprehensive blockchain-based platform integrating file sharing and cryptocurrency transfers, with a vision to share anything and everything in a decentralized manner. Since blockchain transactions are transparent and immutable but one common drawback is the lack of privacy and the pseudonymous nature of addresses used in public blockchains. This may possibly lead to tracing transactions back to specific addresses, potentially revealing sensitive information about the user. Hence, we aim to implement access control mechanisms through ownership and access lists, allowing users to control the access of their uploaded files which in turn improves the privacy of shared data.
