Integrating Sustainable Decision-Making Frameworks in Engineering: Political Implications for Sustainable Development
In response to the enormous challenge posed by technological change that societies face, this paper examines the political implications of sustainable decision-making to incorporate technology. A shift towards holistic policies that consider social, environmental, and economic factors as well as ethical and political values is sought in the context of sustainable development. The review highlights the importance of hearing under sustainable technological decision-making and emphasizing its potential to change current unsustainable paradigms. Examines complex engineering decisions influenced by existing systems and the importance of collaboration between engineers, professional teams, and policymakers. By examining engineering principles and sustainable ethics, the paper recommends a thoughtful and transparent decision-making process for the project, recognizing that sustainability cannot be achieved through site decisions alone. Overall, the paper highlights the critical role of sustainable technologies in the long-term sustainability of human life and calls for greater efforts to integrate sustainable principles into engineering practices.
