Leadership Styles and Their Relationship to Job Performance: Evidence from Bahrain
The aim of this research is to identify the relationship of leadership styles to job performance at Al Khalidiya Holding Group in the Kingdom of Bahrain. A hundred and sixty-nine employees were surveyed using a comprehensive inventory method. The analysis is based on outcomes from a questionnaire distributed to all employees at Al Khalidiya Holding Group in Bahrain. Researchers hypothesized a significant relationship between leadership styles (democratic, autocratic, and laissez-faire) and job performance. Findings revealed that this hypothesis was accepted, with no significant differences in employee perspectives on leadership styles and job performance by gender, but significant differences were observed based on age, qualifications, experience, and position.
