Engineering Decision Making: Impact of Digital Transformation on Administrative Procedures Development at the Ministry of Information in Bahrain
This research aims to identify the impact of re-engineering the production processes of television programs in light of digital transformation (IT infrastructure, digital skills, strategy culture, leadership, competition and change) on the development of administrative procedures at the ministry of information in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Two hundred and sixty-seven employees were surveyed through a simple random sampling method. The analysis is based on the outcome of the questionnaire survey that was given out to a representative sample of the employees at the ministry in question. The researchers hypothesized that there is a significant impact for the re-engineering the production processes of television programs in light of digital transformation (IT infrastructure, digital skills, strategy culture, leadership, competition and change) on the development of administrative procedures at the ministry of information in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The results indicated that this hypothesis was accepted. Moreover, the results showed that there were no significant differences relating the impact of re-engineering the production processes of television programs in light of digital transformation with its dimensions in question on the development of administrative procedures at the ministry in question due to the demographics (gender, age, qualification, and years of experience), while there were differences due to the demographic (position).
