Decision Aid Sciences and Management Strategies in Exploring Comprehensive Pedagogy in Engineering Design Studio Projects

The Pedagogy is an important aspect of design education and plays a vital role in shaping the outcomes of design studios, which are the core of the design curricula. The pinnacle of design pedagogy has led to the emergence of the concept of studio-as-a-place, which emerged to facilitate comprehensive learning for the students. Hence, one of the criteria is to assess the pedagogy behind decolonizing the design studio culture while integrating it with knowledge and observations that influence architectural education. The comprehensive researched objectives are as follows: First, to identify the methodologies practiced in the education of architectural design studios. Second, to identify the learning outcomes expected by the outcomes of studios or what part of the students has achieved in learning by outcomes. Third, to explore the effect of an educational strategy, teaching facility, methods, design pedagogies, and a curriculum in the upshot of student courses. Fourth, the relationship between promoting the enthusiasm of educators, an environment for active learning, effectively executed instruction, and mastery of the taught subject by students. Fifth, the evident practice of education in the classroom and what is learned by students. Information that needs further development, at the end of the study, concludes the object of this exploration. In conclusion, the continuous exploration of teaching methods and the promotion of innovative teaching methods and environments requires professionals from different fields, including educators, researchers, and practitioners.
