Fruit Calorie Measurement using K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm
Globally, there is a growing interest in maintaining a healthy weight and preventing obesity. Therefore, a system that measures the calories and nutritional value of common foods can be highly beneficial. Patients can virtually always access health monitoring programs these days because smartphones and other mobile devices are so widely used. Many diseases have been linked to high calorie intake, which has been shown to be dangerous globally. Nutritionists, however, contend that a daily calorie intake is necessary to keep the human body's calorie balance in check. The suggested approach uses mobile devices to provide an automated food calorie measurement system that helps patients and dietitians monitor and control their daily food consumption. The training and recognition stages of the classification algorithm are the main emphasis of this approach. A meal calorie tracking system's two primary phases are segmentation and recognition.
